REGISTRATION FEE (Non-refundable)

$35.00 is due upon registration along with the signed registration agreement in order to reserve the student’s position in class.

 

TUITION

Monthly payments will be made by debit or credit card as an automatic draft.  Cash or check payments can be made for Semester Pymt (5% discount) or Yearly Pymt (10% discount). All accounts must have a credit card listed. Monthly tuition is calculated from a yearly tuition (the entire season) divided into 10 equal payments therefore accommodating for long and short months. All

monthly autodrafts will be made on the 1st day of each month.  If the 1st falls on a weekend, the draft will be made on the following Monday.

 

COSTUME FEE (Non-refundable)

Costumes are ordered for each student to perform in the Gala Performance in May.  These range $70.00-$100.00 per costume.  The costume fees will be due on Nov.30th.  We must order costumes in December to ensure timely delivery before recital pictures in April.

 

RECITAL FEE (Non-refundable)

DUE MARCH 1ST: Recital Fees enable our studio to provide your child with the experience of participating in a full-scale production including a landmark theatre, professional backdrops & scenery, lighting & sound technicians, as well as top quality programs.  The recital fee is: $55/1st child, $50/2nd child, $45/3rd child.

 

LATE FEES

Monthly payments are due by the 1st class of each month & semester payments are due by the 1st class of each semester.  Payments received after the 15th of each month/semester will be charged a $20.00 late fee.

 

FAMILY DISCOUNT

For families with more than one student enrolled, a 10% tuition discount is offered for the 2nd child, and 15% for the 3rd child.

 

ABSENTEE POLICY

Regular attendance is essential for each student’s progress in dance.  TDC

cannot refund for classes missed, regardless of illness or other reasons.

However, the student is encouraged to makeup classes missed by attending other classes of similar level, age, style.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSING POLICY

The Dance Centre will follow the typical scheduling of the Tuscaloosa City School system along with any of the calls made by Tusc. City Board of Ed. regarding inclement weather.  We will also email and post to our facebook page regarding any closings.  We do not refund for inclement weather closings;

however, students are encouraged to makeup any classes missed.

 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY  Early withdrawal from a class before completion of the year requires a two week written withdrawal notice emailed to welcome@thedancecentre.net.  The parent/guardian is responsible for tuition until notice is sent and accepted.

 

RECITAL PICTURE WEEK - APRIL 16TH - 20TH, 2018

During recital picture week we schedule group and individual photos in our studio that are mandatory for all students regardless of whether you plan to purchase any.  We use all group photography in our end of the year program book and feature each class photo.  Faculty members will be actively guiding and instructing students in technique during the photo shoot.

 

VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE  We video our dances for promotional and public relations activities, and take pictures in class and around the studio for social media.  All recordings and pictures are property of The Dance Centre.
