About Kate

Kate Waguespack is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She trained at Tari’s School of Dance and was a member of their Pro Company since she was 10. She also was a 4 year member of her high school, St. Joseph’s Academy Red Steppers, dance team that has won multiple UDA national championships and held the position of Co-captain her senior year. In her years of dancing at Tari’s, she won Hollywood Vibe Senior Dancer of the Year Top 10(2025), Top 20(2024), and LA Dance Magic Breakout Artist of the Year(2024). She was invited and attended Pace University’s Fall Intensive as well as Kairos Professional Dance Program in Los Angeles. This year, Kate is so excited to fulfill her dream and will continue to purse what she loves most by dancing on Alabama Dance Team!
