WHAT WILL IT COST?

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE (Non-refundable) 

$50.00 is due upon registration along with the signed registration agreement in order to reserve the student’s position in class. $75 for families with more than one student. The $50.00 fee will be posted to the student's account upon enrolling in one of our classes. Note: Pre-registrants will receive a discount on this registration fee.


COSTUME FEE (Non-refundable)

Costumes are ordered for each student to perform in the end of the year Recital Performance in May. These range $85.00-$125.00 per costume. The costume fees will be auto-drafted on Nov.30th. We must order costumes in December to ensure timely delivery before recital pictures in April. 


RECITAL FEE (Non-refundable) 

DUE MARCH 1ST: Recital Fees enable our studio to provide your child with the experience of participating in a full-scale production including a landmark theatre, professional backdrops & scenery, lighting & sound technicians, as well as top quality programs. The recital fee also includes an end of the year gift for each dancer. The recital fee is: $75/child and will be auto-drafted on March 1st.  


TUITION POLICIES: 

Monthly tuition is calculated from a yearly tuition (the entire season) divided into 9 equal payments therefore accommodating for long and short months.  The Monthly payments will be auto-drafted using your card on file on the 15th of each month. If you would like to pay by cash or check you must do so by the 1st. You also have the option to pay year (5% discount). You will be emailed a receipt the first of each month after auto draft occurs.  All accounts must have a credit card on file.  If you opt to pay the entire season in full prior to September 14, 2022, you will receive a 5% discount. Please note: If you pay your dancer's tuition for the full year and then withdraw from classes for any reason (loss of interest, school obligations, injury, illness, etc.), a 20% penalty will be applied to your refund for the remainder of the year. We suggest you only pay the year in full if you are 100% confident your dancer will participate fully in the entire season.

ABSENTEE POLICY 


Regular attendance is essential for each student’s progress in dance. TDC 

cannot refund for classes missed, regardless of illness or other reasons. 

However, the student is encouraged to makeup classes missed by attending other classes of similar level, age, style.


FAMILY DISCOUNT  

For families with more than one student enrolled, a 10% tuition discount is offered for the 2nd child, and 15% for the 3rd child. 


INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSING POLICY


The Dance Centre will follow the typical scheduling of the Tuscaloosa City School system along with any of the calls made by Tusc. City Board of Ed. regarding inclement weather. We will also email and post to our facebook page regarding any closings. We do not refund for inclement weather closings; 

however, students are encouraged to makeup any classes missed by attending other classes of similar level, age, style.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY 


Early withdrawal from a class before completion of the year requires a 30-day withdrawal notice that must be EMAILED to welcome@thedancecentre.net. The parent/guardian is responsible for tuition until notice is sent and accepted.


LATE FEES  

Monthly payments are due by the 15th class of each month & semester payments are due by the 1st class of each semester. Payments received after the 15th of each month/semester will be charged a $20.00 late fee.
